TSLRCM does so much for the ending of KotOR 2, making the droid companions actually savable, giving us a better ending to the rest of the companions, and generally more insight on each of the endings you can get. It's been a good few years since I've played without RCM but I don't remember the final decisions in dialogue being very fleshed out
