As for lens choices, you'll find a FF will give you a wider field of view, and that will impact how you operate (a bit). If you require a comparable framing, you need something like a 24-200. Nikon makes an 18-200 for crop sensors, and an 18-300, but I'm unaware of a comparable Canon lens. You'll probably need two lenses.
